Human geographer focusing on migration, livelihood studies and climate change adaptation.
A human geographer by training, I got my MPhil and PhD from the University of Bergen. Situated at the intersection of human-environmental systems, my research focus has been on livelihood studies, migration, climate change adaptation, poverty and food security in Nepal. As a postdoctoral candidate at CMI, I am working in the project “Prioritizing the Displacement-Environment Nexus: Refugee and IDP settlements as social-ecological systems” having India and Afghanistan the research sites.
