Background:
The Norwegian ‘Strategy for intensifying international efforts for the elimination of female genital mutilation for the period 2014 – 2017’ (Strategi for styrket internasjonal innsats mot kjønnslemlestelse av jenter for perioden 2014 – 2017) was launched in 2014. In light of the strategy, Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI) has conducted an end review of Norway’s work against female genital mutilation (FGM) during the period 2014 – 2017. This has resulted in the report “Review of the realisation of Norway’s “Strategy for intensifying international efforts for the elimination of female genital mutilation for the period 2014 – 2017””.
