Zubaydah Ashkanani Prize 2018

In 2018 Are John Knudsen was awarded the Zubaydah Ashkanani Prize for an article published in the journal "Anthropology of the Middle East" (AME). The prize was presented by the Editor in Chief of AME, Soheila Shahshahani, at the meeting of the International Union of  Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES, Kraków, 24-26 August, 2019). The prize money will be donated to NGOs working among refugees in Sabra-Shatila, Beirut.
