Appraisal and feasibility study, justice sector, Ethiopia

Short-term consultancy to 1) appraise proposal for Norwegian support to the justice sector in Ethiopia 2) conduct feasibility study on proposed Norwegian support to the Faculty of Law, Addis Ababa University. The report concludes that sustainability and integration of the projects into the overall activities of the Ministry to secure the necessary priority, funding and continuity of he two projects. The need for an assessment of a Pilot Phase and the establishment of a possible exit strategy after the initial phase is crucial. Furthermore, the relations between the Ministry of Justice and the Justice and Legal System Research institute should be clarified, as must the role of the various donors on the justice sector.
