Decentralisation and corruption

The main objectives of this study is to organise existing knowledge on decentralisation and corruption, discuss the major controversies within and across disciplines and to identify some areas in most need for further research with an emphasis on questions relevant for development policy. The study is organised as a review of the literature and focuses on academic research.
