Chiara Valtolina
Research Intern
Geography master's student focusing on climate-induced migration
Chiara Valtolina is a master's student in Geography and Territorial Science at the University of Turin (Italy). She completed her bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Planning at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and spent a semester abroad at the Institut d'Urbanisme de Lyon (France).
Her research internship at CMI centers on climate-induced migration and its governance in Africa, with a special focus on Uganda and East Africa. During her working at CMI, Chiara will contribute to the Climate Change & Migration Initiative (CLIMIG) and assist in organizing a seminar related to the initiative at Bergen Global.
