Sosina Bezu is an economist specializing in Development Economics and Applied Econometrics. Her diversified research includes impact assessment, rural livelihood diversifications, land policy reforms, youth migration and experimental economics. She published her work in various peer-reviewed international journals including Food Policy, Journal of Development studies, World Development, Land Use Policy and Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics. Her field experiences include leading multiple household surveys as well as designing and implementing field experiments in Africa.
Bezu holds a PhD in Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (with course works from Cornell University (USA) and Oslo University(Norway) ). Previous to this post, Bezu worked as an Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University and as a Research Fellow at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
