EFFEXT final workshop: Understanding African Migration

We are delighted to announce the EFFEXT project's final workshop and seminar. We look forward to concluding the project with interesting discussions at our in-person meeting in Addis Ababa. The workshop is being organised in collaboration with the Department of Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University. 

Taking place over two days in early December, the workshop will bring together project researchers, academics, and policy makers in dialogue. The projects' findings will be presented, along with current research from the project researchers and other academics. 

The first day of the workshop (2 December 2024) is titled Understanding African migration: Evidence based insights and brings together invited academics to present their work. More information and draft agenda can be found here. 

The second day of the workshop (3 December 2024) will bring together policy-makers along with academics to discuss African migration governance: Insights, innovations, and interventions.
