Evaluation of Norway's Power Related Assistance
The evaluation, using Nepal and Mozambique as case countries, has three broad objectives:- Document and assess the results of the Norwegian power related assistance- Assess the content and quality of the Norwegian assistance and how it may beimproved- Collect information from a selected sample of projects and programmes whichcan constitute a baseline for measuring results of key elements in the new "actionplan".
Norwegian power related assistance covers interventions where Norway alone or in cooperation with other donors planned and/or implemented interventions. The main and broad objective is to document and assess:
- anticipated results
- successes and challenges
- reasons for why interventions have been successful or not, and
- lessons learned by Norway and partner countries/institutions
The evaluation is undertaken by Scanteam, under direction of Dr. Ueli Meier. Jan Isaksen is a macro economist on the team with particular responsibility for Mozambique
