Evaluation of Danida's assistance supporting human rights and democratisation

CMI was responsible for preparing a synthesis report discussing the relevance of Danish support for ameliorating key human rights and democratisation problems and to identify key issues, facilitating factors and constraints in support for human rights and democratisation, lessons learnt and future directions.
The report provides an overview of Danish support for human rights and democratisation: support for various objectives, distribution between countries and regions, target groups and types of activities. Several working papers and country studies on specific issues and different types of intervention provide in-depth analyses of how Danida has dealt with these issues under different conditions - strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
