Report on development research in Norway commissioned by the Norwegian Research Council as a background document for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the process of formulating a new policy initiative to strengthen its involvement in research, both in the substantive field of development studies and as a component of development assistance. Prepared in collaboration with the Norwegian Institute of Water Research (NIVA), the Norwegian Institute of Urban and Regional Research (NIBR) and the Centre for International Health, University of Bergen. The report was published by the Research Council in 1997.
